Lauren grew up on a sheep and cattle property outside Adelong. After finishing Year 12, she completed a Certificate IV in Business Administration at Snowy Hydro in 2020. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology from Charles Sturt University in Wagga, gaining practical experience by working as a veterinary nurse during her university holidays. In 2024, Lauren broadened her agricultural skills further by spending a year as a station hand at Mount Sanford Station in the Northern Territory.
